ELVIRA FINNIGAN
Ms. Finnigan would like to create short video exploring walking trails in Banff and examine the limits imposed by a mild arthritic condition in her knees while climbing some of the mountain pathways. She will create a dialogue between her “good” left knee and her “bad” right knee, each expressing opposing points of view about walking. By documenting her experience of walking, exercise and the application of various remedies to alleviate the pain, the video will address the changes presented by this condition in a humorous manner. She would like to examine the parallel declination of the mountains and her human body through video documentation, audio performances and some animation in After Effects.
